Abigail Rachel Ruth Smith went home to be with Jesus Christ on December 7, 2013 at 6:09 a.m. She was 24 years old and a professional photographer. I was walking around the block in my neighborhood as I so often do when I saw a woman who was also walking, except she had a walker to aid her. I smiled at her and felt very proud of her for pushing forward despite her restrictions. It reminded me of a time I took my papa for a walk on a sunny day. In a culture where we equate productivity with our self worth, this is hard to do. Life in the fast lanes is all we know…..
Writing a book is very personal. You can’t be sure how it will be received or not received. Of course you have your cheerleaders…in my case, my husband, who tells people that I could write the telephone book and he would read it! He’s my biggest fan and not biased one bit :).
Then there are the different reasons why people are motivated to write a book. For me it started out by journaling different thoughts and insights I received…..
